Ujjain, being the holiest city in India is known for its great holy importance in the Hindu Mythology. The major objective of the Kumbh mela is to spread peace and unity in the world. During each day in the Kumbh Mela, various spiritual gatherings and spiritual festivities were held. The whole city is been engraved in the spiritual powers and everywhere you will see is the true divine spiritual energy. One of the most attractive things about the Kumbh Mela is the Sadhus. During the entire one month of the Kumbh Mela, there were Sadhus coming from every corner of the country to be the part of festivities. These are not the normal Sadhus, rather they are also known as “Naga Sadhus” that means those who have achieved Nirvana and enlightenment and given the earthly desires of the world for the sake of the humanity. All these Naga Sadhus comes in different groups which are known as “Akahdas”. There were many “akhadas” that represent the entire community of the Naga Sadhus.
Kumbh Mela is once in a lifetime experience and everyone who believes in God or the creator of universe should attend this great spiritual gathering. Doesn’t matter which religion you belong or which religion you follow, but being the part of Kumbh Mela means celebrating the humanity and mankind through the spiritual powers.
